The 70/30 split
Channel Memberships and tips split 70% to the creator, 30% to Playback. We publish it on the pricing page rather than in a policy PDF. There's no ad revenue-share, because there are no ads.
What checkout does here
This is a reference build. Checkout runs through the platform's free-mode placeholder gateway: it records a real order object and confirms your plan, but no card field is shown and nothing is charged. In a live deployment, the same flow flips to a real processor via a vault-granted key, with money going to the account owner.
Changing or cancelling
Any plan can change up or down at any time. In this build there's nothing to bill, so cancelling simply returns you to Free.
Playback is a reference build. Where a feature has a boundary — no transcoding, plays not audited views, owner-side moderation — we document it here rather than implying otherwise.
