By using Playback you agree to these terms. This is a fictional reference build; the terms describe how it behaves.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you upload. You grant Playback permission to store and stream it so the watch loop works. Don't upload content you don't have the rights to, and don't upload anything illegal.
Acceptable use
Be a person other people would want in the comments. Owners moderate their own communities with the tools provided; reporting is available on every video.
Payments
Paid plans and memberships are billed via a payment processor in a live deployment. In this reference build, checkout runs through a free-mode placeholder gateway that records an order object without charging a card. Fan-funding splits 70/30 in the creator's favor.
Boundaries
Playback does not transcode video, does not rank with black-box ML, and does not claim moderation at scale. Counts are session-deduped plays, not audited views. These aren't disclaimers buried in a PDF — they're how the product is built.
