Studio & analytics
Read your numbers like a pro — the funnel, the curve, and what each metric means.
The funnel
Studio is organized as a funnel because that's how attention flows: impressions → click-through rate → watch time → subscribers converted. Every headline number is shown against your typical, so you're always comparing to yourself.
Impressions & CTR
An impression is a thumbnail shown on a Playback surface. CTR is the share of those that turned into a play. Healthy channels sit in a 2–10% band — a number far outside it usually means a packaging problem, not a content one.
Reading the retention curve
The retention curve is the average percentage of viewers still watching at each moment. Read the first ten seconds like a lie detector: a steep early drop means your hook or your packaging over-promised. A flat middle means your pacing earns the runtime. It's diagnostic, never cheerleading.
